The hour drive and winding back roads took us to Eden Garden State Park where Amy, Dylan and I took time to capture some of their special moments as a newly engaged couple. They both met each other at the University of Florida and the color spectrum of their relationship still bled blue and orange after all this time. I don’t think we could of asked for a better day: not too warm (at least when we started), and there was plenty of shade with clear skies and fragrances of hydrangea. A wedding had just ended when we got under way, so when the last guest left, the entire park was all ours.
Being surrounded by this summer afternoon, brings out the best in people when everything aligns. Engagements are always so surreal, because it all makes sense when it’s just two. Dylan and Amy definitely made sense, and I hope the pictures did their love justice.
