Wedding: Jennifer & Myke – Shalimar, FL

One thing about weddings:  Every ticking moment is filled with about 176 emotions all into one day. I can’t really describe accurately what every single emotion is, but I can tell you that the overlying umbrella to every one is L-O-V-E. There’s something about waiting to be with someone that I don’t think we ever get to really experience as strongly as that special day. So the surreality of walking down the aisle toward the one you’re going to spend your life with is amplified and injected into the hearts of the bride, groom, and everyone else around witnessing it. This statement isn’t anymore true to what I viewed through the camera of Jennifer & Myke’s Shalimar wedding on a slightly breezy, bright, sunny afternoon.

I’ve known Jennifer & Myke for awhile now, so when they chose me to shoot their wedding, I was honored. From getting ready, to putting on the dress and tux, saying their vows and exchanging rings, and dancing the night away, I don’t think I could of asked for a better atmosphere for a Fort Walton Beach photographer. I didn’t even KNOW Shalimar had houses like the one the wedding and reception was at; WOW! I’ll post a picture of the house later this week when I finish the rest of their photos so you can see what I’m talking about. All in all, great wedding, great people, great time.
